I finally got around to upgrading to the latest-n-greatest Wordpress version. Pretty spiffy, but you’ll have to bear with me while I continue to do some finer-tuning.

I find when I reflect on my life, my point of view is ordered into stretches of “normal life” punctuated by notable events — some happy, some sad, some traumatic, but all notable because of the lasting impact they had on me. I suspect this is how most people with a poor memory reflect on their past. I find myself realizing that these past two months will no doubt become an Event (with the captial “E” well earned) in my personal timeline. And before you ask: I’m writing about it here for all the world to see in a last-gasp effort to bring these things to a resolution, at least for me personally.

We’re back in town — but me and the new Mrs. Morris will be busy for the next few days unpacking, settling in, and writing a bajillion thank you notes, so don’t expect much in the way of blog offerings for a while ;) I’ll post once pictures are available, which should be in 5-10 days or so.

Preble and Jon each have entertaining writeups on their blogs which I’d encourage you to check out. And as promised, a link to the wedding website.

Thanks to all of you that went out of your way (in some cases waaaay out of your way) to be there with us on the 16th.

Oh yeah: honeymooning was conducted at the Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands :)

Since Nichole will be shacking with me for the rest of our lives on July 16th, she’s decided to sell her living room furniture (couch, loveseat, coffee table, endtable, floor lamp, table lamp). I’ve snapped some shots of it …and figured I’d make a post in the off chance that one of the 8 people that occasionally stop by here might know someone who knows someone who might be interested :)
