Welcome Jon

Friday, February 11th, 2005

My old college roomie Jon has joined the ranks of the ubernerds on the Intarweb: http://unf.coldwire.org/. Let’s all be sure to extend to him our warmest welcomes, best wishes and loudest belches. Keep checking his site for developments.

…and by my having posted this we’ll keep the pressure on him to get some content up sooner rather than later. Unf, indeed :)

I am crying… crying. Google is quickly becoming, if not already, synonymous with sheer simple genius. Oh, that I had some of that stock…

Rummy’s got a new toy: The Sheriff Mmmm-good! Just imagine all of the liberal heads that will go spinning off of their shoulders once this puppy gets rolled into active duty in Iraq :D Geneva Convention? Guantanamo Bay? Abu Ghraib? Pshaw — that’s sissy stuff. We have the Sheriff!

/beeeeeeeeeeep Dinner is served!

Is that your final answer?

At his request:

[02/03/2005 16:20:52] Jon: you should so have a contest for domain name ideas for me on your blog :)

…I am creating the first ever Name Jon’s Domain contest. It’s about as simple as it sounds: come up with a domain name for Jon, and if he uses it …then you win. What do you win, you ask? Cash prize? Tickets for two to the Clermont Lounge’s “after midnight” session? An appliance garage for your counter top? Welp, none of the above — and none of anything else, actually. So what incentive do you have to participate? I don’t really know :D But, if you contribute something and Jon a) likes it and b) likes it enough to actually use it, I’m sure he’ll be quite grateful. Perhaps grateful enough that he’ll get you something.

I’ll leave it to Jon to post in the comments anymore guidelines that he comes up with. And that’s where all of your submissions should go: in the circular fi… I mean, uh, in the comments.
