Be sure to check it out; I’m sure she’ll be tinkering quite a bit here at the beginning as she gets it to look the way she wants. She’s already got an uber-hot picture (quite representative of Real Nichole, I might add) of herself posted, as a “picture test” (her words).

Well, she only makes me feel worse for still not getting one up. I had told myself that I would start it in the new year, and then here we are a month later and I am without a domain or blog.
My question is this: Since I not only want to do a blog but put up occasional pictures, should I be looking to grab a web service and my own domain since pictures can take up good amounts of space?

Off the cuff, I would say yes — and knowing you :) You’ll want to customize quite a bit more than I’m guessing blogger.com lets you (as do I). However, its clear that some photo storage/presentation capability is offered, so you might want to at least check into the limits on that before you commit to a webservice.
