The Biggest Election Poll Ever Taken

I’m mortified that I’m still awake …but at least I found this: http://www.miniclip.com/hiphopdebate.htm

Highly recommended — SFW, of course …and although the sound isn’t required, it wouldn’t be quite as entertaining without it.

Why do I pay…

…so much $$ just to live ITP, rather than in a nice comfy house, such as can be found in Roswell or Alpharetta?

But the only thing I genuinely fear is the cyclical nature of civilization. I fear the consequences of abandoning personal responsibility. I fear the self-hatred and nihilism that grows among the pampered, the narcissistic and the uninformed. These are things to be feared greatly. They have brought down entire civilizations and led to dark ages that have cost this species very dearly.

I would add “relativism” to that list in the third sentence; I suppose it could be argued that relativism and nihilism are siblings…

All too often we hear reports of a suicide bomber attack in Iraq, in Israel …and our media bombards us with snips like “5 killed, 24 wounded”, “3 were killed and many more were wounded”, etc. But the survivors of a suicide bomber attack — the “wounded” — are often maimed horrifically, riddled with wounds that will leave them with ghastly and often debilitating scarring and disfigurement.

Witness Example A, a very mild glimpse of what a “wounded” survivor of a suicide bomber attack looks like.

Yet terrorists — a label that most definitely includes suicide bombers who target civilians — are being approached as primarily a law-enforcement problem by “one of” the Presidential candidates.
